NAFA-UAS and the Royal College of Music have introduced Singapore’s first jointly awarded Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree, offering a four-year program with global training, international placements, and flexible pathways to prepare future musicians for both performance and the wider creative industry.

Singapore marks a new milestone in music education with its first joint Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree—offered by NAFA, University of the Arts Singapore, in collaboration with the world-renowned Royal College of Music, London.

This four-year programme combines elite conservatoire training with Asian musical identity, offering overseas placements, mentorship from RCM professors, and industry opportunities including collaborations with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO).

For passionate young musicians ready to perform, create, and pursue music professionally—this is where your journey begins.

Established in 1938, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), a founding member of the University of the Arts Singapore (UAS), is Singapore’s pioneer and largest arts institution. About the Royal College of Music

Opened in 1883, the Royal College of Music (RCM) is a world-leading music conservatoire with a prestigious history and contemporary outlook. More than 900 undergraduate and postgraduate students come from over 60 countries and are taught in a dynamic environment, leaving the RCM to become the outstanding performers, conductors, and composers of the future.
